Who can benefit from a coaching approach in communication?

Teachers and students, managers and employees, parents and children, and anybody who wants to establish effective communication can benefit from a coaching approach.

We hope that this book will help to create awareness about "all the things that we have" instead of "all the things that we wish we had."

People spend a very high amount of their time having thoughts about their fears and worries. Worries are mostly concerns about the future, while fears remind us of past traumas. Therefore, both fears and worries prevent us from enjoying the present moment.

Are you tired of life?

Is everything coming upon you?

Is everyone leaving you?

Are you lonely and scared?

Will you not be able to love again?

Do you have regrets about your past?

Do you have a lot to say, but prefer to say silent?

(Referring to a famous Turkish song “Ben Yoruldum Hayat”)

OR...

Blooming flowers, singing birds, beautiful spring, the glorious sunrise, peaceful night, fresh breath, delicious meal, a sip of water, friends who give support in times of difficulty, our beliefs, goals, and dreams... are still there to enjoy?

If you believe that life has taken away from us more than it has given, then let’s read the rest of the butterfly story.

....The butterfly was not looking well. It had small, withered wings and a swollen body. The grandfather and the kid continued observing what happens next. They were waiting for the butterfly to fully open its wings until they were big enough to carry the whole body and fly away.

Alas! The butterfly could not fly. By helping the butterfly to come out of the cocoon too easily, the kid cut short its struggle. It is during that struggle, that the body of the butterfly was supposed to become smaller and thinner, and the wings were supposed to become bigger and stronger.

The butterfly wandered with faded wings and a huge body. The kid had good intentions of helping the butterfly. But never could he have imagined, that only through those struggles were butterflies able to become strong and beautiful.  Only as a result of their efforts to get out of their cocoons, would the liquid stored in their bodies turn into wings. Thus, they would have lighter bodies and beautiful, big wings.

The butterfly in our story spent the rest of its life crawling around, with a swollen body and small wings. No matter how hard it tried, it could never fly.

The kid had learned a valuable lesson to remember for the rest of his life; Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need. If life would let us go along without any obstacles and struggles, we would be incomplete in some ways. We could never get stronger, we could never fly.
